Quick Start

Step 1: Access Scrapalot

Cloud Version:

  1. Go to app.scrapalot.com
  2. Sign up for a free account
  3. Verify your email
  4. You're ready to go!

Desktop App (Coming Soon):

  1. Download from scrapalot.app/download
  2. Open the application
  3. Create your account
  4. Start using Scrapalot!

Step 2: Upload Your First Document

  1. Click the Upload button in the top right
  2. Choose your file - PDF, Word, text, or other supported formats
  3. Wait for processing - Usually takes 10-30 seconds
  4. Start asking questions!

Step 3: Ask Your First Question

Type a question in plain English. For example:

  • "What are the main points in this document?"
  • "Summarize the key findings"
  • "What does it say about [specific topic]?"

Pro Tip

Be specific! Instead of "Tell me about sales," try "What were the Q3 sales figures for the North region?"

Confidence Score

  • High: Very confident, multiple sources
  • Medium: Good confidence, some sources

  • Check page numbers and sections
